Very cute and wholesome, I love the queer commune in the countryside thing. Nothing especially amazing or groundbreaking but I enjoyed myself reading it.

Usually when I read “too much” of a book in a short period I feel out of it and a little guilty thinking of what other productive things I could’ve done with my hours, but with this one - NOPE I read it in a single day and finished with a huge smile on my face and a desire to move to a commune in the English countryside with my friends! This was so cute and fun and reminded me a lot of Boyfriend Material. Really taking advantage of the beginning of the semester and not having much homework yet

this book made me really sad for no reason at all. did not like the rhythm of the plot and everything felt very bland. yet i loved the begging (they have chickens ??!!!).

This was a lovely little read. I really enjoyed the main character El and her wild endeavours. There were plenty of moments where I laughed out loud.

I feel this book is more about El's self discovery journey more so than a love story. I just love the idea of setting up a commune of like-minded people and living off the land. Although I'm not part of the LGBTQ+ community I still thoroughly enjoyed the book and their representation. I particularly loved Rosalie and her book that she wrote. As a parent I couldn't imagine loving my child any less or any differently based on who they love/like/want.

Great summer read.

Thank you to Netgalley, the publisher and the author for an advance copy to read and review.

Yleisesti ottaen kiva queer-kansaa edustava, ystävistä rakastavaisiksi asetelmaa rakentava hattara, jonka päähenkilö on kyllä rasittavuuteen asti hieman hömelö ja surkeudellaan ratsastava.
