While this book was very readable and kept me interested throughout, I had a hard time connecting to Charlie as a narrator. Maybe I just don't like this type of narrator because this gave me big Catcher in the Rye vibes and I wasn't a fan of that book either. I guess for this story I will just stick to the movie, which I enjoyed much more than reading about it.

this book was amazing. beautifully written and i loved the letter format. i had watched the movie prior, which im kinda sad some of the plot in the book didnt make it into the movie but both are equally as amazing. this book made me feel things, maybe im infinite now! such a good coming of age book.
| 11\10 | book is set in early 90s. its kinda a letter to me like as a friend. its written by a kid naked charlie who apparently is quite like me. I later find out hes also born on 24 dec so we're kinda birthday twins. the only difference between us is that hes a lot nicer than me and a lot more innocent. he thinks a lot, and is a bit of a freak, loves eng lit and loves school like me. he likes sam but shes a lot old for him. and his other best friend is patrick who is gay. book was basiclly about a 16 year olf high school kid whos a wallflower. he sees and hears everything but keeps quiet. he also asks weird questions (aka me).
