This book isn’t for the faint of heart… but wow I loved it. It’s very different than what I was expecting. It’s raw and will make you look at childhood trauma differently.

I would have never been able to guess what would happen in this book before reading it.

An incredibly interesting discourse on coping mechanisms, societal expectations, family values, and complete delusion. Some subtle dystopian themes reminiscent of Convenience Store Woman. Chapter 2 was heartbreaking in its innocence regarding and blind acceptance of abuse.
