Age gap 22 & 34 was a little ick for me, especially after he said “you’re mature for your age”. It wasn’t in a creepy predator context though.
But not thinking about the ages, I loved the story!
Banter was great and the spice!!! 🔥

This was a super cute, spicy, fun little holiday novella. It had the perfect amount of banter, tension, and spice. The characters are lovable, and it have great chemistry. The audiobook was fantastic and duet format! Highly recommend for a fun little Easter read.

Anna is the youngest in her family. She’s a server at the local Italian restaurant in Lake Geneva. She is close with her family and helps her sister out a lot with her nephew since her husband was deployed.  She meets the Easter Bunny at the local Easter Egg hunt, and he seems to know her, but she can’t seem to figure out who it is inside the costume. When it comes time for photos, she takes her sister up on a dare and takes a photo with the Easter Bunny, giving him a kiss. Afterward, the Easter Bunny hands her a note asking to meet him at High Five for a drink after.  Anna was curious about who the bunny is and has some thoughts as to who it might be but then thought it couldn’t be him since she only ever got big brother vibes. But since she was going to finish reading her dark romance book drinks with Buttons, the Bunny sounded better.

Chad lost the Fantasy Football League with his friends and had to be Buttons the Bunny at the Easter egg hunt in Lake Geneva. Afterward, he is promised beers at High Five – That’s what he keeps telling himself to get through this. When he see’s her at the photobooth, she leans in and gives the bunny a kiss right as the photo is taken. When the guys dare him to leave the bunny suit on when he comes to High Five later and he agrees. He writes Anna a note and gives it to her. At High Five, he decides to only wear the bunny head to meet Anna. To his surprise, Anna came, and they got along great and flirted a lot.

Anna and Chad had instant connection from the moment they sat down next to each other at High Five. Granted, Anna didn’t know for sure it was Chad since he was wearing the bunny mask.  Anna recognized the voice and laugh – and she’s excited it might be Chad. She likes his nickname for her “Little Bunny”. When they agree to have a real date, Anna is excited to see who it really is. Chad takes her to the local art gallery for a paint night and then for dinner. Their chemistry is more intense than before. They agree to another date, and the flirting that ensues is hot! Anna’s humor is whitty, and as a dark romance fan, a little unhinged. When she makes comments and Chad doesn’t shy away or question it it’s really meant to be.

I loved the Run, Little Bunny reference! This book is honestly at the top of my favorite list for the High Five Novel series so far.

I think this has been my favorite of the series so far. I’m also a dark romance girlie so I liked seeing touches of dark romance like primal play, masked play, secret identity, talks about breeding, somnophelia, etc even though it wasn’t a dark story at all. Very cute play on the Easter bunny.

Nikki and Corvin did absolutely amazing on this duet narration. I think they were the perfect duo cast for Anna and Chad.

This was a fun spicy Easter novella! Anna and Chad have been friends for years, but Anna has always over looked him until Chad disguised as the Easter Bunny finally gets the courage to ask her out.

The only thing that really took me out of really getting into this novella was the amount of times Anna giggled. I get that she’s 22 and 12 years younger than Chad but the giggling was a lot. Other than that, Chad dotes on Anna and gives her everything she wants.

Run, Little Bunny is a fast paced insta-love novella but the banter and chemistry is off the charts for these two. If you’re looking for a fun and quick novella with some spice, then pick this one up! The narrators for this were on point and brought the characters to life!

Okay, so if you're in the mood for a quick, steamy, and super cute read (or listen) this Easter season, Run, Little Bunny is it! Anna Clark and Chad Braun’s chemistry is next level, and I am HERE for it.

Anna, a self-proclaimed dark romance lover, is the queen of playing it cool… until a mysterious bunny man at Lake Geneva’s annual Easter egg hunt has her feeling ALL sorts of ways. Turns out, that bunny is none other than Chad, the guy who’s been lowkey crushing on her for ages but is worried about their age gap.

But behind the mask? They can’t deny their connection. From playful dares to sizzling banter, the tension between them is everything.  The way they challenge each other with their witty comebacks? Pure perfection!

The narrators, John Lane & Avery Caris, killed it! The way they brought the characters to life made me wish I could live in this small town of Lake Geneva. The spice? Definitely spicy. 🫣

This novella’s part of the High Five series, and it’s such a fun addition. It’s got love, laughter, and all the feels. You’ll be grinning like an Easter bunny by the end of it.
