This was a nice read!

I really liked the overall philosophy that it doesn't matter if good or evil has been put in this world—the best we can do is "tend our own garden" and find what makes us, individually, content. However, I disagree with Voltaire's assumption that it is always easier, and better, to let the suffering of our neighbors be and focus only on our own happiness.

I actually didn't finish this book because I got too fed up. Such a ridiculous and heavy-handed approach. Perhaps the original French version is better....

Quick and easy read. Though masked by a naiive position, it does a great job remarking on the human condition
