deep, layered, crunchy poetry…lots to chew on - I want to dig into each one and dissect it, I want to know more, I want to understand…I will read this again and again

I have bought a edition that has both of plath’s poetry books and some scattered poems together. I have just finished Ariel. I have been trying to do so for the last 3 years but her poems are really dense and dark. However she writes like no one.

Some poems you can feel how frantic and unwell she was. Maybe I relate a little too much to “The Birthday Present”. A few too many problematic dictions…
