gorgeous book w engaging plot. this is almost a five star for me but i felt the author holds some disdain for women that have abortions due to

not only the treatment of tooms but of saints ending where she had the baby all along

. the christian undertones came in at weird times and were jarring to me. lost a half star for that.

I really wanted to like this book, but it was slow and overwhelmingly sad.  It's a story about hope, but all the trauma and tragedy was too much for me.

Loved the book. Very atmospheric and felt like I was in a movie. Character development was so strong, and I cried multiple times for Saint.
