This book is so original and I loved the ending, I would recommend having time to get into it. If you are a read before bed kind of reader like me, it took too long to get into and I would forget characters and where they were and was it present day or past. It didn’t help to be on my kindle so I couldn’t easily flip back. That said, I loved that the plot included an artist and art, and there were some good twists. about halfway through ai got into it.

I was immediately captured by this book from chapter 1, and could not put it down. Incredibly well written and the character development is excellent, though it is devastatingly tragic on so many levels. Fair warning, it's gonna make you feel all the feelings: humor, sorrow, rage, and hope - it's all there.

One of the best books I’ve read in a while! It’s dark but uplifting at the same time somehow. It’s unlike other books where someone disappears because it’s more interesting and complicated and less predictable and is kind of slow yet a page turner somehow. It’s really beautifully written and easy to grasp without being simple
