 Great book that kept surprising me the whole way through. Some have said it was a page turner for them, and I wouldn’t say that. It dragged for me in many places. That’s why I took off a little points.

Every time a new character was introduced I was in love. Norma, Misty, Nix, Sammy, Charlotte, Blackjack. I had no idea of the time span covered in this book. Coming of age mixed with crime thriller is a unique combo.

This book was sad the sake of being sad. I’ve never had a book take so much from me while reading and not in a good way. Adding a star because I liked the ending well enough.
