Started off strong, but then the book kinda lost me. Sure, it wasn‘t anything new nor groundbreaking. It was still nice to check in with yourself though and served as a reminder. During autumn it became more superficial about clothes and it continued with the christmas decoration in winter. I homestly skimmed the last two seasons.

I’m quite shocked by the reviews. I think that as someone with a public platform, Lydia naturally has a lot of “trolls” and haters, but I’m so saddened to see that behaviour here. Her book was quite an enjoyable read and I read a lot of books. It was well laid out and had a beautiful flow. Contrary to other reviews it was NOT a copy/paste of popular quotes or Pinterest ideas. It’s okay to not enjoy a book or style of writing but at the very least be truthful about your review. For some of these I question whether they actually read the book or not.

I enjoyed this. I found it slightly repetitive however. Maybe I would have enjoyed it more reading each season desperately at the corresponding time of year.
