I think out of all of Ali Hazelwood’s MFC I have finally found one that I can truly relate to. Mallory, a young gem! And even more so in finding a MMC that I love the most, knowing my sons best friend is named Nolan made for a cutesy awwww. While they’re easily the youngest couple of Ali’s books, these two have the weight of their own worlds on their shoulders.
Maybe you have had to feel this pressure to truly understand and appreciate them and their immaturity at times in the book, so I could see others not loving them as I did. I did wish we could’ve dove a little deeper into the pasts to truly envision a lifetime before their own. I wanted more from this book and its characters, but in a good way. It could’ve been at leas another 100 pages. It took me less than a day to read and I really ate up every moment. It’s a banger for me and I will support Ali Hazelwood books as long as she’ll continue to produce them! 5/5

Loved this book, but it was a bit frustrating at times how oblivious Mallory is. Loved the chemistry between the two MCs, and would have liked a bit more spice but I know this is Ali Hazelwood’s YA novel so it makes sense.
