This story really progresses from chapter to chapter and just gets better.
Still enjoy that series very much - I absolutely adored their Death note.
I'm really loving this series. I love how it gives insights into the life of a mangaka. Mashiro and Takagi working together are like a dynamic duo. There were some moments in this volumes, where I burst out laughing. To me comedy is an important part of shounen and this series has its moments. I should almost mention that I absolutely adore Azuki. She was all throughout this volume and her interactions with Mashiro are sweet. I probably won't get to see her as much since she graduated and moved to a far away high school. But this was indeed a great volume and I'm glad I have the next volume here in the house ^__^
Toujours une aussi bonne série, le discours stéréotypé sur la femme était un peu moins présent cette fois, mais cette vision des filles en général m'empêchera toujours de lui mettre 5 étoiles
This is probably my favorite of all the manga I've read. I love the comedic timing. They also do a really good job with character designs. Despite having a fairly realistic art style, you can recognize most of the characters just by their profile.
This was... boring as hell. The story continued having really sexist elements and they just pissed me off. Apart from that they story just kept repeating itself over and over, with both characters just working really hard at their manga, taking it to the editor and not having it accepted. All so that the cycle begins again.
Don’t think I will continue with the series.

I really like the manga creating half of the story, but the personal lives of the boys is so weird! The two of them really annoy me, and it takes away from the story quite a bit.
This volume gets seriously into how tough it is to break into professional manga, even for extremely talented creators such as our protagonists. It's especially interesting for presenting the function and usefulness of an editor, something that often gets short shrift in other works about writing.
There's a fair amount of violence in this volume, most of it against Takagi by his girlfriend (and future wife) Kaya. It's clearly meant to be slapstick, but is jarring in this otherwise realistic series. On the other hand, Takagi actually being decisive and putting an end to a love triangle within a chapter of it being introduced is a pleasant change. (The treatment by the story of the loser in this triangle, well that's a matter for reviews of future volumes.)

I really liked this volume, I feel like the story progressed really well and Azuki is so cute. @_@
