The extra stories in this book provided a great insight into some of the side characters. I wish that these stories were included in the main books as they include a lot of vital information. It is never explained why Lena’s mum doesn’t go back for her so I was glad to finally hear that story. But still I feel like this book missed out on vital moments, Hana’s section stopped moments before her choice to expose Lena and Alex. And Alex’s stopped just before he walked in on her and Julian. Both of these moments are arguably the most crucial in the books and yet we lost a valuable chance to see these scenes through the minds of the characters at the centre of them.
And then we get to Raven and Tack, it is emphasised through the series how close they are and how much they love each other and yet they have like no chemistry and never really get to see them talk to each other. This book finally gave us a glimpse into their life but it was all too brief. And then comes Raven’s secret, this turns everything upside down and changes the way I viewed the last book of the series and yet it wasn’t included in the actual books. Instead Raven dies and it is kind of brushed over and then never gone back to. I felt a bit robbed.

I kept thinking there might be something somewhere in these stories that hints as to what happened in the end but nope.
It was alright though, I feel as if I know these characters better now

Well after finishing the whole Delirium series I would give it a solid 4 stars. This book gets 4 stars also. What I got from these novels is: I dislike Hana very much, don't really get Annabel, and I WANT TO F***ING KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO RAVEN. You can see the full review here->Greyland Reviews.

The story I was anticipating most (Annabel) was my least favorite. I was curious about her story but found it quite boring.
We don't learn much about Alex throughout this series even though he is an important character. This book explains what happened to him during book 2, Pandemonium, and we also get some backstory on him. If you didn't feel like you connected with Alex in the series, I highly recommend picking up this novella!
Raven and Tack were my favorite characters in the series! I loved getting to see more from them. I would read an entire series about the two of them! This short story was equal parts

i liked hana's story more than i expected! i think i'm never going to stop being weak for stories about girls dealing with that mix of jealousy/heartbreak that happens when their best friend starts growing away from them. annabel and raven weren't bad either, but hana's was specifically calibrated to my emotional buttons. 3 stars

Hana's story: Aw man! I love Hana, I mean I REALLY LOVE HANA, but I can't forgive her for what she did. She meddled with my OTP! Grrr. I guess she was just upset/jealous that Lena was getting everything she wanted. Ugh! Hana -_- NO.
Annabel: Aw man, I love her! She always thought about Lena :') so sweet. Her escape was bad-freakin-ass man! Aaahhh, she's awesome.
Raven: OMFG WHY?! Why would you do this to me Lauren?! Why make it harder for me to accept what happened to Raven after reading this?! Ugh... So sad. I wonder if she ever told him though :/ *sobs*
