I loved getting more of an insight into Lauren Oliver's characters. I'm definitely going to miss this series SO MUCH.

I loved having these extra little stories. It gave a little background for the other characters.

I don't think these really added much to the series.

It was nice to get a little back story on Hana, Annabel, Raven and Alex, but I'm not sure it really added to the story for me. It actually made me like Hana a lot less. Raven's death became more tragic. I think I would rather have had Annabel's story stretch more into the Resistance. And Alex's actions once he finds Lena seem more petulant.

To be honest, already reading the original triology I just couldnt be interested by this. The third book ruined it for me. I liked book three, but it lacked the luster of the other two books. And reading these just talked about what we already new or guessed happened.

Hana's story was far my favorite part of these novellas. I felt like I could finally see her in her shoes and I liked it.

Annabel was interesting but I wished it was all in the past. She is a girl who fell for a cured man. It should have been more of that.

Raven's was kinda boring and unnecessary. I didn't even like her in the actual book so reading her novella had me uninterested

And Alex was also kinda boring. A bit cliche since he can only think about Lena.

If we were to see novellas of these characters I want it to be about them and backstory not scenes that aren't necessary since it kinda already happened in the book. Cough cough, Raven.

3.5 stars.
3 stories, from 3 of the female characters who don't get enough credit.
I enjoyed them all really; maybe Hana was the most resonating to me.
This clearly adds a depth to the series; the characters are a strong part of it, and gotta admit that's the big difference with other YA series, actual in-depth characters.

I totally loved reading these short stories. It was great going back into the Delirium world, and I loved getting more insight into the characters of Hana, Annabel, and Raven.

Hana’s story was good, and I liked getting more of her point of view pre-cure, since in Requiem her point of view was post-cure. It was interesting to see her struggle with her feelings and the laws of her world.

Annabel’s story was probably my favorite just because we don’t know a whole lot about her in the books. I really liked having her insight and seeing her story and learning more about her past. I honestly would read a whole book just about Annabel because I find her so interesting.

Raven’s story was kind of heartbreaking actually. I love Raven in the books and it was nice to see her get a story of her own. Her story is so emotional and heartwrenching. I was actually kind of sad at the end.

If you’ve read the Delirium trilogy, this is a great bonus to have. It adds a little more to the whole world that Oliver’s created and gives you a little more insight into the other characters.
