Not crazy about the
guys were all mean to her because they liked her and the spineless older brother who treats her like shit
but definitely had some cute moments. Would have liked to see more character development for the guys as they are somewhat indistinguishable

A cute story about Kendall growing up with an older brother and his three friends that picked and pranks on her constantly. One prank was so bad it cost her an apprenticeship. Kendall left after that and was gone a while. Now she, with her BFF, Barbie, looking to rent a room for Kendall. They come across and ad and it turns out it the home to the old pranksters Gage, Connor, and Van. Kendall said Hell no but Barbie asked why not? Pay back is a bitch.
Oh let the fun begin because karma is a bitch. The guys were over moon that she was back into their lives again and weren’t above begging and groveling to get her to forgive them. Boy did she did she get them back. Yes! You go Girl! The story had humor too. The boys were able to redeem themselves and worked things out to a happy ending.

Beautiful portrait of messy love

Sam Hall has, once again, written an incredibly compelling romcom; the characters are fully realized and each has a lovely development arc. This book is a warm and gooey chocolate chip cookie after a hard and cold day.
