Slow start

This novel starts almost painfully slow. I almost put it down but stuck with it. Liked the action, it just took a long time to get there.

Quick, easy read. Not my favorite Freida book, but pretty good! I think the ending fell a little flat and got a little confusing…could’ve been better executed. But still worth the read!

So this book was definitely bingeable. I read 80% of it in one sitting. I did NOT see the twist coming at ALL so that was great. However, as others have mentioned, the timeline kind of gets wonky at the end and I found myself wanting to write stuff down because I couldn't imagine when/who did what in my head.

But still giving 5 stars because it stumped me, kept me engaged and I love all of Frieda McFadden's books
