Not as gripping as some of McFadden's other novels, and not as big of a jaw-dropping twist (and some were a little predictable), but still had me curious as to where it was going that I had to finish it in a couple of days (the standard time frame for any of her books!). One of the twists still threw me enough that I'll have to go back and read it with that in mind. Brilliant writing as always. More of a suspense/mystery & romance than your usual McFadden thriller.

It was surprising who the "ex" turned out to be but this felt very similar to a lot of Freida McFadden's other books. It was still entertaining, I just feel like a little more could've happened.

???? i don't what I just read, this was kinda confusing and all over the place, the plot was good but how she developed the story and the characters not so much, it was an okay book for me. Frieda has better ones, so this one would be a skip :)

A dark thriller with a twist that I didn't see coming. A quick easy read with an accessible writing style.  Main character Cassie falls for good looking doctor Joel, relationship develops, but his relationship with his ex Francesca is a stumbling block. A tale of obsession, and stalking. A suspenseful and overall great read.

The story flowed well and was decently written, not overly descriptive. There were some interesting twists, that came in about 70% of the book, that were set up nicely and were not very sudden. But part of two of the twists could have been written better. The way they are written makes them seem like a result of miscommunications and I think would have been easily cleared in real life, if that were the case.
