Ugh. Stine is at it again with the cultural appropriation. If it was written by someone else, this might have been a good adventure story, but this was definitely no Goosebumps. No spooky aspects, kid gets weird powers out of nowhere, and the wrap up was boring. Very low tier Goosebumps, one of my least favorites.

I think I read this in middle school and I was obsessed with the goosebumps books for a while lol, it probably started my love for horror movies

I love this book and honestly I don’t know why. The main character is very kid me. Love the setting and shrunken heads! Plus the cover is iconic to me. Next up is the tv episode I remember hating it
