I almost abandoned this book halfway through as I found the writing to be simplistic and lacking depth. I ended up sticking with it, mostly because I didn’t have another book ready to start, and I found the 2nd half better than the 1st.

My gosh this book is incredible.
Friendship, found family, love, and laugh out loud funny moments. Also trauma, in a way that I initially thought was not that sad, but sort of turned out to be devastating. I LOVED how they work through their own trauma and connected with each other, the communication and essentially everything. This book was totally totally fantastic and I am SO glad I bought this one and can reread as I see fit (but not right now. Re:emotionally devastating)

**The audio was GREAT! Dual POV dual narrator! We loveeeeee!

If I could read this again for the first time, I definitely would. Loved seeing real-life family and mental health challenges intertwined with romance.
