Say I Do absolutely didn't deliver the promised tropes. It started out very promising with Benito, the Vitale boss getting married to Harlow, son of the Yakuza boss. The enemies-to-lovers was happening until they started living together, which was right after the wedding. Pretty soon both characters lost their edge and were just having sex all the time. Right after the first time, when it was crucial to read about those first moments of them living together and having sex, it was all off-page. Their inner emotions were not being talked about enough. They had depth, but there wasn't much written about it. Where, I ask you, was the hate sex? Did I miss it? Because I don't remember it. They were both hot for each other from the get-go. No hate sex.
Its defenitely better than the first 2 books, this couple actually has chemistry compared to the other, but I'm not continuing the rest of the series.. This was pretty terrible in every way and I can’t say I really enjoyed it, but it was weirdly addictive so 2.5 stars but I'm rounding up to 3 for the gorgeous cover of the book.

This book has unfortunately become my guilty pleasure. Harlow is genuinely one of my favorite characters I’ve read about in a minute. He’s fucking insane.

I am pissed we did not get a cute lil cartoon picture of Harlow, Benito and Emi wtf?

Other than that! I loved every moment of this book, Harlow was insane, yet so interesting to read I loved his character and getting glimpses of Gin’s twin brother? Oo I’m sat.

Benito, I also loved him, how deeply he cares for his brothers to keep them safe and how he clearly fell in love with Harlow enough to burn those forsaken diary entires. I feel the series gets better with each book, I still love Ash and Gin like definitely top couple for me but Harlow and Benito are a good second. Harlow’s definitely my favorite character so far. Biting the finger off the guy when he undid the muzzle? I was dying laughing.
