Harlow laughed. "Count me in. I like scaring the shit out of people."
"I know you do, baby."

This is my favorite dynamic.

This was trending toward a 5 star read for me - the baby thing kind of brought down the whole vibe, which sucks since it's was the ending. It's always harder to sort my feelings about a book as a whole when I don't like how it ends.

Who doesn't love a great murder-husband duo? If you've read the other books in this series, you know how dark it can get, but man, is it spicy. This is definitely a enemies to lovers that follows Benito and his new husband, Harlow. While being forced to be married, they have to learn to live together while trying not to kill one another, which leads to some steamy scenes.

The characters have great chemistry, and I was cheering for them the entire time. While they don't have much communication in the beginning but through violence, their connection grows over time.

There were some sweet moments, and we learned more about Benito and his weight. I'm so happy we still get glimpses of Enzo, Gian, and their partners. This series has become my new favorite. Benito and Harlow got their HEA, and it's much deserved for everything they have been through.

Second time reading this book. Just as good as the first time reading it. Love seeing two psychotic people come together to find love especially if they had a bad history in the relationship department. Wish there was more background as they moved from enemies to lovers, but it was okay for the most part.
