The problem here is ME! ( some spoilers ahead )

I knew from the start that I am NOT into Mafia trope.. I knew it.. so, then why i bought the Audio for this one ? Well.. because of the hype on social media groups.. because it was presented as enemy to lovers and that is one of my favorite tropes ever. That was the main reason. But.. I'm really sorry to say I stopped at 8h 35' left. But I am even more sorry to say that after listening for almost 4 hours ( total audio is 12h 27') there isn't 1 thing I can say I will remember about this story even if I stopped before half. I didn't read/listened previous ones so I don't know if " the supposed bride" appears there or not, but the first huge red flag for me was right at the beginning. In this " super powerful " Mafia world, she was supposed to get married to someone, but she gets herself pregnant with someone else and none is questioning anything, but instead they offer her brother in her place to a supposedly STRAIGHT guy, and again, no one blinks an eye ? I mean, this is beyond fantasy..

Now since the Audio sits in my library, maybe, and that's a huge maybe, I will try again few months from now, and see if I changed my mind ( I doubt i will, but I might try ). Till then.. just 2 stars from me

Omg I love them so so much!! The duo!! Absolutely insanity of two insanely ferocious people falling in love. It was more interesting to see a little more of the political side that Benito has to deal with. Harlow is insane and a delight to read about. Benito and Harlow match in possessive, intense energy. The brothers are just good and loving as all the other books and Tex, Ash, and Harlow is the funniest and great teamup. This book had so much packed into it, I was glued. Also the epilogue is everything and I'm so glad they get to be a happy family. I'm so fascinated how the plot will pick up and seeing Paulo with his family again!

I loved every second of this book. Benito and Harlow are by far my favorite couple of this series. They were both so unhinged, well Benito was quietly unhinged and Harlow was loud with his psycho-ness. When husbands murder together, they stay together. They were so cute when Benito finally acknowledged that he did in fact like his husband. Harlow took no shit from no body and I loved it.

Benito: "thinks he can put his new crazy husband in the guest room and not have to deal w him."
Harlow: "think again asshole."

Harlow and Tony's relationship was the funniest thing ever. I cracked up every time they interacted. Harlow was def on Tony's list after he knocked him out and threw him in the back of the car. They were so funny. There really is something about the eldest brothers that does it for me. Their books always eats. The fact that none of the brothers end up with women is the funniest thing and Benito's reasoning is "trauma" lmao. Him finally giving his dad a piece of his mind was top tier, it had been a long time coming. I wish Harlow would've like kicked his ass tho, would've loved to see that.

Their ending was too cute with them becoming parents to his sister's child. I loved it, they deserve the world and I hope they end up getting their revenge with this war going on. This book will def be a reread in the future.
