If you like ghost stories or haunted house, this one is a fun read! I was hooked after the 1st page. It kept me guessing and surprised me with plenty of twists. I especially liked the two storylines that were going together, they proved yet sometimes contradicted each other (which one was closer to the truth?), adding more spices to the mystery.

A solid thriller. Did it blow me away? No. But it didn't disappoint either. I think if you read too many thrillers this may not be a must-read. But if you don't read thrillers often, I'd recommend this.

Almost all tropes are in here. An old house, city people moving back in and discovering secrets. The way she gets back to the house may be unique. Maggie's dad wrote a book she can't escape from. Apparently, there were ghost events in their old home.

Obviously. there's not, it was secret passageways that people used. He thought she killed her nanny when she was younger but it wasn't her. It was another person in town but Maggie couldn't remember until being brought back and the killer admitted it.
