I think this is my favorite one in this series!
The sexual harassment was handled well (and I wanted to fight those dumb men)
Taryn and Josh were fantastic, and better together!
It was fun to see previous character pop back up and the hints for book four got me really excited!

It is difficult for a woman to get ahead in the financial world that is run primarily by men. Taryn is a smart, hard-working woman who just wants to be taken seriously and for her hard work to be recognized. She is constantly dealing with advances from men in her field who, in retaliation when she declines their advances, would take credit for her work or report to their superiors that she isn't a team player. Taryn has thought about quitting but given her financial situation that is not an option, especially since she has taken on the responsibility of supporting her parents financially as well. In a chance encounter Taryn and Joshua's paths cross and their immediate attraction is undeniable. As much as Taryn tries to ignore it, she just can't get him out of her head. Should she take the chance on her desires and risk her career by crossing the line she swore she never would?
This book had me 🥵!!! The story of Taryn and Joshua
was a relatable one with real issues and responsibilities which helped to shape their relationship. Taryn is a strong independent woman and I love how she remained that way throughout.
Joshua is a very stand-up guy who has 5 sisters so he is very protective of woman and will not allow any man to disrespect them by any means. I loved both of these characters and the way the author told their story. I definitely recommend this one for anyone who loves a good real life love story! This was my first book by Nicole Sanchez and after reading this one l am a huge fan!! I can't wait to read the rest of the Love in the Big Apple series!
