Duxton Hill follows the story of Clara Tan, written in an intimate way that feels like a diary as she shares her journey working at an ageing boutique hotel, finding a true love, overcoming her socially difficult medical condition, and well, perhaps even inheriting the boutique itself. The way it reads also feels like a slice-of-life kind of story, and I really enjoyed it!
