I was blown away by this author’s writing. She kept me fully engaged in the story. The protagonist was a complex person dealing with complex issue trying to find what happened to her sister, who has been missing for 12 years.
Basically, she kidnaps a man she believes to be a serial killer to take a road trip visiting sites where women have gone missing, and she believes his photographs document their deaths.
There were a few details in the book that did not jive but I did not let them distract me.

No bookmark needed with this one! A crazy, unique story with photos & survival guide entries & short chapters make it a quick read. You start out feeling one way about these characters & view them in a new light by the end. Slightly dark but very suspenseful & addicting to the very last page. Be sure to read the authors note at the end bc it adds some incredible insight to the story.
Seemed promising but main character just needed therapy. I feel like i couldnt fully grasp what happened except that everyone was wrong and playing too many games. The use of photos and pages from book mentioned are a cool touch.
