I didn't know what to expect when I checked this book out. I am placing an order for my very own copy today. Full disclosure, the last section drags a little too long, covering ALL the angles for how to leave a permanent mark on the universe. But otherwise, it is hilarious, and it taught me a bunch of stuff!

At the beginning of the book, I was worried that the author's style was a little too silly for me - but I'm very glad that I stuck around! The book approaches supervillain-sized schemes with creative, scientific plans. The book is full of interesting facts on a broad variety of topics and is interesting throughout. I got exactly what I was looking for when I picked it up

Not what I was expecting, but a very interesting read nonetheless. North manages to turn very complex scientific explanations into something fun and relatively easy to understand by giving it a weird context, and it mostly works!
Some of the chapters are a bit more dense or less interesting, but I enjoyed it overall and I've learned some interesting pieces of trivia that I didn't know before.
