Tried multiple times to get through this book, but it’s just not for me. It’s obnoxiously promiscuous (to the point where it’s cringy, in my opinion) and the story just drags on.
If you’re looking for cute, fun and relatively clean Christmas Rom-Com, I’d recommend Beth Moran books instead—more dynamic characters and superior plot lines.

Loved this! Also felt like an Emily Henry, might’ve been even better than Holiday Romance. The fake dating trope and MMC were actually so cute!

I'm not a contemporary romance gal, but so far with Catherine Walsh, it's a 2 for 2.
Just like Holiday Romance, it's funny, it's romantic without ever being over the top, the relationship development is natural and believable, the smut -as someone who's not into it- is just the right amount, managing to avoid the cringe I usually feel reading them, and the overall mood is perfectly festive and fun.
If contemporary is not a genre you usually read but want to try one out, the Fitzpatrick Christmas is a great one to start with.

Read all these books as audio books. The Irish accents and feel are so fun. Walsh transports you.
I've enjoyed all of Walsh's books, but this one is my favorite. Interesting characters, a fun twist on the fake dating trope, excellent banter. When it ended, I wanted to start reading it again so I didn't have to say goodbye to these characters. Excellent audiobook narration.
had all the good parts of a cheesy romance without the super annoying bad choices
Oh this was such a cute book. I loved the Irish vibes and I knew from Holiday Romance that I’d love Christian! I’m so glad we got his story!
I'm getting wayyyy too into the Christmas vibes this year hehehe ❤️ perfect book for the season
