This book took a little longer for me to read only because of having to work. I loved that this was not just a love story but that there was some adventure, suspense, and romance in it. Kate and Price were happy and completely in love until one day Price's plane crashes and he is dead. Kate mourns the loss of the love of her life for a year, only to be wisked away to a tropical vacation by her sister in law to find out everything sh thought to br true for the past year was a lie.

Misadventures of a Good Wife is a good fit for those seeking a heart-wrenching, emotional rollercoaster of a romance that explores the complexities of love, loss, and second chances.

This story was good. There was a good story line but at times it was not very believable. But it was entertaining.

Okay, this one was weird.

Misadventures of a Good Wife was, again, weird. I will admit that I was a bit intrigued when Kate's dead husband came back into her life. Yet, the whole secrecy thing was just weird and rubbed me the wrong way.

Kate and Price had the perfect relationship/marriage in her eyes. They loved each other with everything they had. Until the day that he died and she just kind of slowed down. Kate did try dating .. once and it didn't happen again. She was in love with Price and was content with where she was at in life.

It also didn't hurt that her husband wasn't really dead either. The day they walked back into each other's lives it was like nothing ever changed. They knew how the other moved and their smut was on point. Hot and on point.

YET, this book was weird. No one could know that he was alive. There was someone out there that wanted him dead and maybe even her. YET these two couldn't stop making at it like bunnies. It was good but still weird to me.

Overall, I wanted to like it more but for most of this book I was just confused and going along with everything that was happening. I am glad that these two got back together though - they had a one of a kind love.

Price and Kate had the perfect marriage. Their love was effortless and knew no bounds, that was until he dies in a plane crash. Miserable for an entire year after his death, Kate finds herself on a remote island vacationing with Price's sister, when a man walks toward her on the beach. It is Price, and he has been hiding out from the men who tried to kill him, faking his own death. The couple are reunited and the passion explodes. But when they try to stay hidden the story takes you on a wild ride of hit men, FBI agents and even more lies and deception. This story had great (mis)adventures with more twists and turns than a rollercoaster. The characters love could be felt in their words and in the hit sex scenes. This is another great story in the series.

If you read Taylor Jenkins Reid’s “One True Loves” and thought “That’s just too much plot and not enough spice,” then give this a read. It’s fast-paced, boring as hell, and made no sense.

I received a copy of Misadventures Of A Good Wife from Netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion. While I enjoyed reading Kate and Price’s story, I felt that that book fell a little short for me. I wanted more details into their life before and after the accident. I felt like all they wanted to do was have sex, while the scenes were intense and hot, it just seemed like there was too much of it. The book was good and I would recommend it if you are looking for a quick read.
