And oh, the spice! Arias cranks up the heat to absolutely burning, delivering some of the steamiest, most emotionally charged scenes I’ve read in a while. But it’s not just about the fire—there’s depth, devotion, and an undeniable sense of belonging between these three women that makes every moment feel earned. Each of them brings something unique to the relationship: Marisol’s sweetness and quiet strength, Zuri’s unpredictable firecracker energy, and Elena’s fierce, cocky swagger that makes her utterly irresistible. Together, they are magic.

One of the things I adore most about Arias’ writing is her commitment to sapphic love stories without the dreaded third-act breakup. Instead of unnecessary angst for the sake of drama, she gives us complex relationships that face challenges head-on, proving that love—especially a love this powerful—is worth fighting for. And while there’s no painful cliffhanger, the ending leaves just enough intrigue to have me desperate for the next installment.

For Love and Blood and Fury isn’t just another five-star read—it’s a standout, even among Arias’ already stellar collection. Every book she writes somehow manages to raise the bar, and this one? Absolutely nailed it. If you love paranormal romance, sapphic longing, and a love story that sets the page on fire, this is an absolute must-read.

Go read this book! Immediately! Yes, it’s book one of an incomplete series buts it’s just too good to miss out on.

Quick Thoughts:

The world building in this is phenomenal. More you learn about it, the more it all makes logical sense how it’s structured since it is a hidden world
Elena is SUCH an interesting character and has a complexity you don’t see in most vampire characters
Zuri’s talents aren’t something you see often in books and I really enjoyed the magic system here. She’s also as bananas as Elena
Normally a character with Marisol’s traits come off as whiney and too stupid to live but here she is smart, compassionate, and the perfect third for Elena and Zuri
Finding out why Elena and Zuri broke up broke my heart and had me sympathizing for both of them
The sex scenes were delicious and so very hot
I want to know more about the side characters. They were also fun to read about and shinned on page
The poly relationship was both sexy and sweet, and was perfect for all three
No third act break up!
All of them are kick butt in their own specific ways and I loved that
That cliffhanger had me putting the release date for book two in my calendar
I can’t wait to learn more about this world and what’s going on

Overall I ADORED this book and found myself staying up late reading it. I honestly can’t wait for the next book. It is absolutely worth your time and money.
