DNF ~15%. I could tell pretty quickly that this wasn’t for me, but I tried because of the comparisons to Howl’s Moving Castle that I saw in an ad. The comparison is undeserved.

A bit fluffy, but I liked the characters and the story. Despite the book cover’s initial appearances, this is not YA so we get a (thankfully) competent female MC with a few years under her belt. The mystery isn’t exactly edge of your seat stuff but it still makes for an easy and entertaining read.

This was such an enjoyable read!! The MC was likeable and smart, and the side characters were well written. This was charming and I’m excited to see where the story takes me next.
