This is the best cross stitch book I've ever seen in my life. There is even a pattern for Leonardo Da Vinci's La Scapigliata. Absolutely bloody brilliant, and gorgeous patterns of breathtaking art.

This isn't for the feint of heart, though, when it comes to cross stitching. The pattern I'll be doing next uses 34 similar colors (like the difference between 'light leaf green' and 'light grey green'). So much counting, and you'll need plenty of good light so you don't mix up the colors.

But man. Even if you don't actually do any of the patterns, this is one of the best craft books I've ever had the honor to read. If you complete any of the patterns, you're going to have a work of art on your hands.
