I thought it was good. I don’t know if enemies to lovers is the right trope for this. I feel like the major trope is just boss/employee. Loved the horse representation! Normally I’m not a fan because most authors get so much wrong with the lingo, behaviors, and routines. Overall, I’d say it was a pretty good story, 3.5 ⭐️, but i rounded up to 4 because Elsie handled the horses so well!

Mildly racist, had the one “villain” be a shady character with Romani background, which to me pushed harmful stereotypes of them as cheats and scam artists.

I really enjoyed parts of this and Billie was great, but Vaughn was not my fave leading man (or anywhere close) and I was bored for big chunks. Still Elsie Silver so still fun, though, and I have hopes for the rest of the series based on the sneak peeks we’ve had so far! Full review to come.

God, you gotta love an Elsie silver book 🐎🐎🐎 this was the perfect holiday read, super quick & easy. I really loved the enemies to lovers, it was actually believable. The fmc made me laugh as well she had NERVE 🤣🤣🤣 not my fave but I enjoyed 🤝
