I would've rated this higher if it weren't for the part of the book where it glorified r*pe. Everything after that one chapter is just awful. Both main characters trying to justify what happened, totally ignoring the gravity of what Daphne has done. I'm not normally the kind of person to say this, but if the roles were reversed and it was Simon who had done it, Julia Quinn would not have gotten away with writing this.
