Quinn has been competing with Grayson in Speech and Debate the entire time they've been in high school. They loathe each other. But this is senior year. Quinn is determined to not only be their team captain, but to also crush Grayson like a bug in their competition. But Quinn gets a bit distracted when she ends up with an anonymous pen pal due to a misfiled test. And she's flunking AP Gov. And one of her best friends just won't take her gentle, but obvious, hints that she's just not into him.

I especially loved the dialogue in How to Speak Boy between Quinn and Grayson, as well as between Quinn and her penpal. The relationship building here was fantastic and this was just a joy to read.

If you're in the mood for something that will make you laugh and squeal, this is the book for you. It's such an entertaining rom-com, and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. It's a nice quick read too!

You've Got Mail set in a high school around a speech and debate team. It's delightful!

I loved this. The characters are fantastic - smart, likable, and endearing. I was rooting for them from the beginning.

shit that was 'bad'. like cringeworthy. and sooo repetitive. and straight. and white (even though the love interest is biracial).

tiana smith desperately needs to take some classes with maurene goo in how to write cliches without being boring af

I was really looking forward to the release of this book since I enjoyed the author’s previous book so much and I was not disappointed. It was a cute romance novel that was easy to read in one setting that I had a lot of fun with.
