Ganz nett. Natürlich vorhersehbar.
Wie ein Hallmark Movie. Als Buch.
"Popcorn fürs Hirn"
Seicht, aber erfüllt damit auch alle Erwartungen.

This book is a whole freaking mood. A super quick read. You just get lost with Adam and Olive. They are chef's kiss. Definitely highly recommended.

Maybe it is my own experiences as a former awkward grad student so focused on my work that I related to most. Or just the fact that, in some ways, the MC, Olive, is an everywoman. Whatever it is, I loved this book! It has been so hyped for a while, and though I purchased it when it was released, I slept on it for a while. I’m so glad it came along at the perfect time.
This story, about fake dating and academia, and the lengths we take to insulate those we love—and to protect ourselves from hurt—rang adorably true!
Hazelwood did such an incredible job of weaving poignancy and pain with romantic comedy and I found myself literally LOLing so many times throughout this book.
I will forever ship Olidam (Adive?) and I can’t wait to read the next book!
