This book has a very interesting and unique premise, and it certainly delivers!
I found the main characters journey to be very realistically done in particular, as she grapples with the reality of her ‘home’ that she loved so much.
There is a chilling realism to how the cult operates, how information and the means to access it is hidden from the members under a false idea that it’s all to protect them.
Overall, a very well-written and crafted middle grade book with a unique, and important, premise.

A very solid and emotionally driven book about a girl who leaves a cult and reacquaints herself with the outside world. The ending wasn't as strong as it could have been but still a good read.
