I loved getting to venture more into the life of Audre following Seven Days In June. I do feel like I should have waited a bit before reading this story though as it was hard now seeing Eva through Audre’s eyes at times. But I guess that is the true nature of mother/daughter relationships.

Audre is a fierce, complicated, independent and complex character. I enjoyed getting to learn more about her throughout this book and to see her relationships grow and change. Not just the relationship with Bash but her relationship with Reshma, her mom and baby Alice.

I am a true Tia Williams fan and can’t wait to read what she comes out with next!

This was so cute and just like in Seven Days in June, Audre is my favorite character. Bash was such a cute friend turned love interest. Their lives were complex and their vulnerability together was heart warming. They made very lovable characters.
