Gripping. Curious to see what they did with the story for film. Incidentally, I read a Kindle version (sand dunes on front) where some of the formatting seems to have been lost, making it difficult to tell when the author was switching from one character to another.

I read this to see if it was appropriate for my 10-yr-old. Short answer: no. But it was great. I’ve always loved the movie with Jimmy Stewart, and the book was almost as good. :)
