A quick look-see at Harry who finds himself it seems, always in the most absurd situations. Still this had a bit of action, comedy, and magic. Not bad for an introduction.

A cute little tale that introduces a great many characters and a tiny glimpse into the life of Harry Dresden. This glimpse bringing a yearning to read more and find out what else lives in the dark and the magic that can defeat it. It was nice to learn more of the past of the characters and to feel more involved with them.

It was a neat little story which tells us what kind of person Harry Dresden is.
Harry befrending a little girl and giving her little faith and he runs into Murphy for the first time.

It was a cute preview to the start of Harry Dresden and The Dresden Files series.
