The last we see of Chanse!
I have enjoyed the series, perhaps this one not as much as some of the others but all have solid mystery elements.
For me, New Orleans has been as much the star as Chanse and the cast of characters. I’ve enjoyed googling along to see the streets and houses.
Chanse in this one is being the martyr he is accused of, battling his pain rather than mitigating.
The culprit is as expected but not before Chanse has a chance at throwing everything away.
A HFN ending I think, and let’s hope Rory and Chanse are still together now!!!

Another great mystery from Greg Herren. It is the last Chanse McLeod book, from what he states, and he finishes the series with a good solid story.
