I had a ton of fun reading this book. It was my first Jennifer Probst novel and I'm hooked, now I want to read everything of hers that I can get my hands on.
Ophelia and Kyle are such a beautiful couple. Each character has a fantastic background and the way they come back together was just absolutely perfect. I couldn't be more happy for the both of them. The complement each other beautifully and help to fight each other's weaknesses.
The writing was well done and the pacing was also well done. I think the author did a great job and there is nothing that could have been improved. Grammar was not a problem and there wasn't any strange vocabulary.
As a second chance romance, I believe this was one of the most realistic ones I've read in a while. The feelings and situations were relatable and even when sometimes you had sad moments, the good times and the HEA at the end were so worth it.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book provided by Netgalley. The opinions expressed are my own.

I was sooo excited to read this addition to the Stay series and preordered it so I could read it the second I got it. Then someone I know read it and said it was horrible and I got sooo nervous. I refused to read it because I didn't want to be disappointed by it. Finally after months of putting it off I picked it up. Guys I was worried and scared for absolutely no reason! I loved this book like I knew I was going to in the beginning! Ophelia is such an amazing character. I love how homey she is and how organized she is to run this sweet B+B. I really feel her mother's nature coming through her even though she has passed on. Don't get me started on Kyle! I always love a Hollywood writer coming back to his roots. It reminded me of The Love Letter by Rachel Hauck. Again these characters go through a lot of character growth. It's a second chance romance for these two and I loved it! Can't wait to see what Harper gets up to in book 3.

It's been 8 years since best friends turned lovers Ophelia and Kyle have seen each other, when he storms back into her life knocking on the door of the family inn she now runs. Back home after a leaping into a successful career that tore them apart Kyle is looking for forgiveness and a second chance. But some wounds are too deep to mend easily. Can Kyle work through his misconceptions of the past and earn back Ophelia's trust?
A great, classic second chance romance. With the return of the main characters from the first book in the trilogy and the ever lovable Hei Hei, Probst spins another tale that keeps drawing you in. I love Ophelia's resilience and tough exterior. Kyle's heart on his sleeve, tender side makes you root for him to get the girl. And as with past books Jennifer weaves a fantastic secondary plot line revolving around Kyle's recovering alcoholic father; whose endearing personality, desire to change and care of old rescue dog Charlie makes him hard not to love. I think the only down fall for me was I found this book progressed at a bit of a slower pace than the first. But still a great read if second chance romances are your thing and for fans of Probst's previous works.

I really enjoyed this one.
I love second chance romances and I loved reading about how Kyle grew as a person and how he convinced Ophelia to give him a second chance.
The descriptions of the farm and the Inn and lovely and make me feel like I'm right there with the characters.

I own the first book in signed print and loved it. This book is slowing becoming my favorite but that's not shocking because every book of Mrs. Probst has become my favorite. She puts out stellar romantic fiction on the regular and her characters are true to life. She is always on my TBR pile.
This is a good second chance romance. I enjoyed reading Ophelia and Kyle’s story but it was just a story. The book was enjoyable enough but was somehow flat for me. I’m not sure if it was the predictability of the story or what but overall for me it was just an enjoyable read, not something I will remember in a few weeks. #ABrandNewEnding #NetGalley
Alright romance fans, do you like plot lines that follow different family members or different friends from the same group in different books? That’s my favourite. I just love following the same group of people through different stories and perspectives. I guess it feels more real to me? The Start of Something and A Brand New Ending follow the same core family members and I just love it!
Hei Hei the rooster is back! I just love that they have a pet rooster in this book series, it makes me laugh. Such a quirky addition. Along with Hei Hei the couple from book 1 is around and they are such a cute addition to us following Ophelia and her romance. Ophelia runs a cute little inn and I just love her life. It seems so soothing and calming, really like the tone of these books.
I think I liked these characters more than the ones from the first book. I connected with them a bit more. I recommend these if you’re looking for some relaxing reads with romance in them.
**Thank you Thomas Allen Ltd for sending me a copy in exchange for an honest review, now we just need Harper’s story, the other sister!**
