Interesting but the writing and flow wasn’t concise. I wanted to be spooked by the things going on, but I was pretty bored
If you're interested in this story, just find youtube videos describing it. This book is terrible.
This was a well documented recounting of the events that happened on Lindley Street in 1974. I was a kid growing up not too far from there and remember the adults talking about the haunted house in the newspaper. I come away from it understanding why the hoax labeling came about and agree it was necessary. However I am not so sure the scientific RSPK hypothesis is any more valid than active spirits. The case has elements that satisfy both. I've also had the pleasure of meeting with Ed and Lorraine warren and that tempers my feelings a little too. Either way if you are interested in the paranormal this is one of the best case examination you are likely to come across. The writing could use some polish hence the 3 stars but it is not unreadable by any means.
The story and evidence was well-presented in an unbiased way. Great read!
