“For one, he wasn't flirtatious at all. If course, we would have a huge problem on our hands if an eight-year-old did behave that way.” (37)
Equally lovable as the anime. More details pop up in the book, details that do better at explaining her maturity in regards to her reincarnation or regained memories. While Katarina remains dense, she is still a charming character. Hopefully her consciousness will mature now that she's nearing the age of her previous life's self. Keith is a great brother. I hate Jeord. How many times does he mention or remind people of his engagement? Word of it spread so far that you'd be hard-pressed to find someone who didn't know. I wish Katarina would swing Mary's way, even just once because I love Mary and they'd be an adorable match. Alan while a bit oblivious is a great friend. More is to be desired from Nicol. Sophia is cute and supportive. And Anne has the upperhand as maid because it's doubtful she'll ever be dismissed from Katarina's side.
I'm curious to see how the novel series will play out anf compare with the anime. Haven't delved into the manga yet, but perhaps after I've read enough of the novels. Overall, a very dramatic, silly, fun, flirty series.

A little different from the Anime and manga. It was pretty good!

I love the anime, so of course I had to read the light novels. The story was quite humorous and heartwarming, and while I recognized many scenes from the anime, it also gave me a little more insight to the characters. The only thing I'm knocking a star off for is the heavy retreading that happened each chapter - I liked the bits that gave me a new perspective of a situation, but there was also a lot of dialogue that was copy/pasted, and rereading the exact same thing twice impacted the pacing a bit for me. Other than that, it's a fantastic lighthearted read.

I enjoyed this book, Both the cover of book and the writing was fine also the atmosphere was okay. The world building was pretty good and the ending was fine. The paced of plot was bit slow and I think the characters needed to be flash out bit more.

This is a great cozy read and a brilliant start to this light novel series - though the stupidity of the main character is a little frustrating

I love this book I love this book I love. this. book.
I was smiling the whole way through! I will freely admit that I'm completely and totally biased towards it because A. I binged the anime before reading and B. I'm an avid fan of otome games— but I sincerely recommend this to anyone who just wants to read something fun, sweet, and genuine. Katarina is an amazingly endearing protagonist and honestly I adore every character in her harem as well.
It's a lighthearted but surprisingly earnest book and I love it!
