In a world where you can forget the bad things getting a wipe is much easier than therapy but also a society like that comes with it's own problems. Theoretically there is a proper process in place to make sure that people don't forget things they shouldn't and that it is safe.
Our story is a multi-POV and it's only in the final part we see how the characters link together and learn more about the consequences of what they chose to forget and what they might or might not chose to remember.

Although I normally enjoy much faster paced books the themes and the ideas behind this one kept me interested through the slow start as I got to know the cast.
The concept behind this one will stay with me much longer than the plot and characters. Definitely worth a read but be prepared for a slow pace looking at forgotten motives and the idea of the self.

I was so excited for this book because the memory removal concept holds so much potential, but almost nothing in this book worked for me. The most interesting chapters were Noor's because they explored what working in the clinic was actually like. Most of the characters were disagreeable in uninteresting ways and every time there was suspense it was resolved in the most boring way possible. The ending dragged on way longer than it needed to.
