Honestly, this one was so close to being a five star read if something towards the end hadn’t pissed me off so much (not a spoiler, I’m just odd and I’m sure this thing would be irrelevant to everyone else). Keris absolutely carried this book, I adored him but I wish I had liked Zarrah’s character more. I actually think my favourite part of this was the siblingship between Lara and Keris because it was so sweet to see them come together again and also bicker like siblings do.

These poor characters truly never catch a break and I felt like we just went from one moment of panic and pain to the next but I did thoroughly enjoy it. There were so many emotional moments and parts that had my heart racing and I’m just so glad I decided to continue with this series.

Amount of spice:🔥🔥
Explicitness: 🌶️🌶️🌶️

I loved having Keris, Zarrah, Lara and Aren on the page together!

This was fantastic. I took longer listening to this one than the previous 3 books because I was even more hooked.

I kept rewinding segments to listen to again and was physically in shock at some scenes.

I loved the dynamic of all 4 of our MCs and how difficult it was to navigate around the politics of them all being enemies in some way.

I adored seeing more of Keris and Zarrah together and I think they might now be my favourite couple of the Bridge Kingdom.

This was so messy, we had so many betrayals, reveals, mysteries of the past unearthed in the most devastating way possible and I was hooked for the entirety of it all.

I cannot wait to see what the author brings us next!
