I go back and forth between actually liking Keris and being extremely irritated by him. His love feels real and very believable but it is almost a smothering type of love sometimes. Especially towards the beginning. It's not that he doesn't love Zarrah it just seems like he thinks he always knows better and he takes her choices away in the sake of "protecting" her. He gets better by the end and overall its a really good story but still. Would have rather had another book about Aren and Lara lol

the endless war? more like the endless book, man this thing was long as heck and it took over half the damn thing for any…ehm…”adult fun time”…to appear that wasn’t in a flashback, you think people read these books for the political intrigue? well i do but that’s no the point

I love this series so much! Keris & Zarrah were such amazing characters, their likeness in mind yet difference in character/honour made them the perfect pairing & the angst the author put me through was so worth it for the ending. 

The storyline was perfect - the author perfectly depicted the images of war & sacrifice required to lead to peace.
