I love Liana Finck’s Instagram account, and this book is a collection of many of her pieces from there. It’s great.

It wasn't bad, it just wasn't for me most of the time. Some of it was really good, and some of it fell flat. If I had seen these on Instagram I probably would have followed her, but in this dense format it was just far too much at once.

It's like seeing all of my own snark, neuroses, and societal observations played out in doodle-form.

Cliches abound in these cartoons, making for an insipid collection.

Not enough substance and too much repetition. This definitely felt like a bunch of Instagram Posts instead of a cohesive and edited collection. The funny-factor was also lacking, some of the cartoons made me chuckle, but on the whole a lot of these just fell flat. Not to mention, that a lot of them were just tragically depressed and sad. Maybe one at a time, these cartoons would've been more effective, but rounded up like this and reading one after the other just didn't work for me.
