This book was really fun, I liked the idea of someone making clones/doppelgängers, and we finally meet Daisy, Poppy and Rose's Dad. Though is he really their dad, or is it another doppelgänger?
Daisy is really getting more awesome with every book, I like that she finally gets the hang of her powers, though she should really practice more.
Ryan.. again, I wish he would just talk to people, it would solve a lot of things, and a lot of stuff wouldn't have happened.
Wolfgang, I didn't like him from the first time we saw him, but in this book he is more obnoxious than ever. Hitting on someone's girlfriend, making strange drugs and being an overall pest. I am really hoping, that in the other books that are still coming that he will be nice or at least won't have a big role.
In overall, a really fun nice and wonderful book. Can't wait to buy the whole collection of these books. They are short, but still full with fun, and I love their simple covers.

I didn't figure out for sure who done it this time. But that's because the characters tricked me. lol Looks like there will be at least 2 more books in this series. There had better be at least one more because this one ended in a cliffhanger!

This installment struggled a little. I think the author should have chosen one of the two plot lines and run with it - the book suffered from being spread too thin to really get into either plot.
Overall it was still a light, fun read. I'm moving on to Dead is Just a Rumor to see what happens!

Daisy is at it again. She's gotten a job and is taking care of herself this summer. Still dating the adorable Ryan and still friends with Sam and Sean. But she's noticing that the freshman football team is bulking up and liking their steaks and burgers very very rare. A lot like Ryan does.
She also spots her father lurking around time. But she can't seem to imagine it's really him. No contact for so long and he just suddenly stops in to town, leering at every female near him and eating all the sugary things within his grasp.
She soon learns a town secret that sends her reeling and knowing she needs to step in and help. I liked that the plot had more to it and seemed to include the whole town council as they pieced together what was going on. But it's still super light and silly.

This one held my interest much more than the last one. A little more exciting and filled with lots of drama. More secrets reveled and more mystery that lies ahead.

Eh... Not really surprising the Ryan is a werewolf. It was incredibly obvious.

Like the others before it, it was an ok read. I guess it can be read by younger teens, there's no sexual content and the mystery is resolved quite easily.

In this third and strangest installment in Marlene Perez's "Dead" series, Daisy Giordano (now 17) comes face to face with a man who looks exactly like her long-missing father, Rafe. Where has he been all these years, and why hasn't he tried to contact Daisy, her mother or her two sisters? The answer may have something to do with the sugar-craving doppelgangers* running around town (especially the area of Nightshade around the donut shop.) Budding foodie Daisy has a weakness for chocolate and caffeinated beverages, but even her sweet tooth is no match for that of the creepy doubles. There's also a pack of ill-behaved werewolf pups on the loose. Between that and her new job at Slim's, it's amazing Daisy has time for solving paranormal mysteries...or snuggling up to her boyfriend Ryan. This teen psychic has amazing time management skills! Comparing this book to the second and first in the series, i didn't like it as much. Although there were some unexpected moments throughout the story, it didn't excite as much as the last two. Overall it was well written and was able to maintain the concept of the series, but sometimes a little too predictable.
