Lily's plot and antagonists are very very weak, but usually her romances are the best. This was her debut novel, so the romance felt lack luster in terms of emotional intimacy, but I still enjoyed it and I'm excited to read more books from this series.

Do yourself a favor and buy the audiobook. Michael Lesley put his entire soul into this performance. Loved the story. I found myself caring deeply about the characters' happiness and hurting when they suffered. Just a great story. I can't wait to read "Edin"!

The monster isn’t very monstrous, and the world building is kind of weak, but it had its moments and the sexy scenes managed to hit the right notes.
